Laser Operator (Tube Laser) - Permanent Afternoon Shift

Location: Wolverhampton Area

Salary: £14.72 per hour (£13.44 + £1.28 shift allowance)

Shift: Monday to Friday | 1:30pm - 9:00pm

The Best Connection Wolverhampton is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company for an experienced Laser Operator to join their team. This is an excellent long-term temporary to permanent opportunity with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Operating tube laser machinery, ideally LT722
  • Loading and unloading materials safely
  • Using an overhead crane to move steel and components
  • Producing high-quality work to production targets
  • Carrying out basic quality checks
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience operating tube laser machines (LT722 experience preferred)
  • Valid Overhead Crane Licence/Certificate is essential
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent role
