The Best Connection is looking for a Graduate Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join our client based in Bilston.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30
Salary:£28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Assisting with fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Working alongside experienced engineers to improve equipment reliability.
- Assisting with PLC and automation-related tasks.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
- Ideally a First Class degree or a strong 2:1 classification.
- Strong interest in electrical maintenance and manufacturing environments.
- Practical and hands-on approach to engineering.
- Knowledge of fault finding and electrical systems.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- 18th Edition qualification or installation experience would be advantageous.
