The Best Connection is recruiting for a Frame Assembler for our Wolverhampton based client. Immediate start available.

Working hours are 09:00 till 18:00 Monday to Friday

Pay rate is £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture wooden bed frames and components to specification.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including circular saws, drills, nail guns and sanders.
  • Measure, mark, cut and assemble timber accurately.
  • Read and work from technical drawings, plans or production sheets.
  • Ensure all frames are built correctly and meet required dimensions.
  • Inspect completed products for quality and consistency.
  • Identify and rectify defects or assembly issues.
  • Ensure all components are finished to a high standard before progressing to the next stage of production.
  • Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
  • Assist with general workshop and manufacturing duties as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures when operating machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bed frame manufacturing, carpentry, joinery, furniture assembly or a similar woodworking environment.
  • Competent in the use of circular saws and other woodworking machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to read measurements accurately and use measuring equipment.
  • Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
