Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Tipper/Tramping

About Us
The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Cat C+E tipper driver to work for our client based in Winchester. The job has NO Heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 10 hour daily pay with overtime available on weekends. Must have tipper experience and be happy to do night outs. Training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- The normal working week is Monday to Friday, overtime available on weekends
- The work will involve staying away during the week
- You will receive training for your first week from a Full time driver
- Completing vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.
- The role is delivering and collecting grain from Farm to Mills.
- Good communication skills are key as you need to call farmers an hour before arrival to ensure you go to the correct area on the farm.
- Reporting any issues to shift manager
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Class 1 Tipper experience, and happy to do night outs
- Must have previous tramper experience
- Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
