Stores Operative - Wigan
Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
The Best Connection Bolton are recruiting for a Stores Operative to join our long-standing client based in Wigan.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous stores or warehouse experience who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment.
Duties will include:
- Receiving and checking incoming goods, ensuring they arrive in good condition
- Offloading vehicles using mechanical handling equipment
- Organising, sorting and managing stock levels
- Chasing late deliveries and missing goods
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Carrying out stock takes
- Operating a B1 Forklift
- Supplying materials to operatives as required
- Ensuring goods are stored safely and correctly
- General stores duties
- Keeping the stores area clean, tidy and organised
What we're looking for:
- A positive and reliable attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Previous stores experience would be advantageous
- Experience operating a B1 Forklift would be beneficial
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Based in Wigan
