Warehouse Operative BL5 Area - Night Shift (Temp to Perm)
We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced distribution depot in Westhoughton BL5.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and hard-working individuals looking for a long-term role with the potential to go permanent.
- Shift Pattern
- Shifts can vary and hours are generally 01:00am-09:30am
- You may be called at short notice to attend work.
- Shifts start as ad hoc with the potential of more shifts going forward.
- Availability is logged onto an app and you will be called and booked in inline with what you have put.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading and loading parcels safely and efficiently
- Scanning and sorting parcels using handheld scanners
- Handling items up to 25kg
- Ensuring parcels move through the network quickly and accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health & safety guidelines and company standards
About You
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Comfortable being on your feet for long periods
- Able to lift and handle parcels up to 25kg
- Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Confident using handheld scanners with good English reading and writing skills
