We are currently recruiting for a Deburr Operator to join a busy client of ours in Whitstable, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance interconnect systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and reputable company offering stability and long-term career prospects.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours (Rotating Shifts):

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00
  • Week 2: Monday to Thursday - 14:00 - 22:30, Friday - 14:00 - 19:30

Duties Will Include:

  • Deburring precision components to remove sharp edges and imperfections
  • Using hand tools and specialised equipment to finish parts
  • Working to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Inspecting components to ensure they meet strict quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Supporting production teams with general manufacturing duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience in deburring or working with small components (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of workplace health & safety
