We are currently recruiting for a Deburr Operator to join a busy client of ours in Whitstable, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance interconnect systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and reputable company offering stability and long-term career prospects.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours (Rotating Shifts):
- Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Thursday - 14:00 - 22:30, Friday - 14:00 - 19:30
Duties Will Include:
- Deburring precision components to remove sharp edges and imperfections
- Using hand tools and specialised equipment to finish parts
- Working to engineering drawings and specifications
- Inspecting components to ensure they meet strict quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting production teams with general manufacturing duties
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in deburring or working with small components (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong understanding of workplace health & safety
