The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Combi Side Loader Driver for our prestigious steel distribution client based in West Bromwich.
Important Requirements
- Applicants must submit an up-to-date CV
- Applicants must hold a valid, in-date Combi Side Loader M1 or M3 licence/certificate
- Successful candidates will be required to attend an interview with the client manager
Hours of Work
Night Shift
- Sunday to Wednesday: 22:00 - 06:00
- Friday: 22:00 - 05:00
Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour (inclusive of 25% shift allowance)
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Combi Side Loader FLT to pick and transport steel products.
- Loading and unloading HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading warehouse racking.
- Moving stock throughout warehouse, production and dispatch areas.
- Working towards daily productivity and performance targets.
- Palletising, shrink-wrapping and labelling customer orders.
- Conducting stock checks and order verification.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Carrying out any additional warehouse duties as required by management.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold a valid and in-date Combi Side Loader M1 or M3 licence.
- Have previous experience operating a Combi Side Loader FLT.
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
