The Best Connection West Bromwich is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our reputable client based in the heart of West Bromwich. Ongoing shifts are available.
The Role
- You will be responsible for delivering aluminium trunking to electrical wholesalers and building sites across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- 2-5 deliveries per day nationwide
- Opening and closing curtains and securing loads (FLT used for unloading)
- Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday
- No weekend work and no nights out
- Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
- Completing regular vehicle checks
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Curtain-side trailer experience (preferred)
- Experience using straps to secure loads (advantageous)
