The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter on behalf of our established engineering client based in Wednesbury.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected precision engineering company that manufactures high-quality components supplied to the automotive, aerospace, and medical sectors.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00am - 3:00pm
- Early finish every day with no weekend work
Pay Rate
- From £15.00 per hour
- Higher rate available depending on skills and experience
The Role
As a CNC Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating specialist machinery, including:
- Wickman Automatic Lathes
- AS14 Tornus Machines
You will be producing precision-engineered components to customer specifications while maintaining high quality standards and production efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have proven experience setting and operating Wickman Automatic Lathe machines
- Have experience working on AS14 Tornus machines
- Be able to work to engineering drawings and specifications
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
- Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
