Our client based in Watford is currently recruiting for a Experienced CNC Setter / Operator to work on Doosan, Citizen and Star machines, producing components for various applications. Full Time role available for the right candidate.
CNC Setter / Operator Main duties will include:
- Set both Sliding and Fixed Head lathes for precision batch production.
- Read, interpret and work to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform first-off inspections and quality checks to ensure component accuracy.
- Work on prototype and repeat batch work in line with production schedules.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot, improve and maintain machine performance.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow health & safety guidelines.
CNC Setter / Operator Experience Required:
- Ability to work to tight tolerances with various metals.
- Capable of reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must come from engineering background
- Setting & Programming CNC Lathes
CNC Setter / Operator Shift:
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
- Friday 8am to 13pm
CNC Setter / Operator Pay Rate:
- £35k per annum depending on experience
