The Best Connection are currently recruiting for full time, ongoing Machine Operators / Setters to work at our client's site based in Havant.

Temp to perm basis. Working hours vary between 7am - 4pm or 6am - 2pm.

Duties to include, but not limited to

  • Monitoring and operating engineering machinery.
  • Identifying and safely clearing machine jams and blockages.
  • Understanding and working with nuts, bolts and mechanical components.
  • Adjusting machinery settings to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Carrying out basic mechanical fault finding.
  • Ensuring machines are running to required production standards.
  • Reporting any mechanical issues to supervisors or maintenance teams.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Pay rate is £14.00 per hour.

Our client are looking for individuals to be with the business on a long term basis.

This role would be well suited to individuals interested in long term role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Full training will be provided, however previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering setting would be advantageous.
