Due to continued growth in business, our client, a leading supplier and manufacturer of medical products, are looking to recruit a Senior Warehouse Operative. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking to progress into a more senior role with additional responsibility and the opportunity to lead a small team.
Working within a busy warehouse operation, you will support the Goods Out Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the Goods Out department, ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately and on time.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the Goods Out Supervisor with daily warehouse operations
- Leading and motivating warehouse colleagues to achieve operational targets
- Delegating tasks and monitoring team performance
- Ensuring customer orders are picked, checked and dispatched accurately
- Investigating and resolving operational issues efficiently
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety within the warehouse
- Supporting stock control and dispatch processes
- Assisting with process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting other warehouse functions as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience leading or supervising a team would be advantageous
- FLT licences (Reach, Counterbalance or HLOP) are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1600
