An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client based in Launceston as a Warehouse Operative for a 1-week temporary assignment within their busy furniture warehouse. The role involves a variety of warehouse tasks including the safe movement and handling of furniture items, accurate picking and packing, and supporting the overall flow of goods through the warehouse.
Duties include:
- Organising stock
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Ensuring all items are handled with care to maintain quality and safety standards
You will be working in a friendly warehouse environment with free parking available on-site. The successful candidate must be physically strong, comfortable working with larger items, and have a good level of numeracy and literacy to complete picking sheets and follow written instructions accurately.
Although this is a short-term temporary position, there may be further opportunities for ongoing work depending on business needs.
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 08:00 to 16:00
