Warehouse FLT Operative Wanted - Consistent Work & Weekly Pay

Location: Uckfield | Mon - Fri: 08:00 - 16:30 | (Subject to change)

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Forklift Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth goods‑in, stock control, and internal logistics between the warehouse and production areas.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receiving, checking, and booking in stock including paper, inks, and consumables
  • Managing goods‑in and dispatch operations
  • Maintaining accurate stock records through daily physical counts
  • Strapping completed work and organising daily movement between factories
  • Producing a simple daily stock report, including:
    • Completed stock counts
    • Internal stock transfers (warehouse machines)
    • Replenishment requirements from suppliers
    • Daily (or twice‑daily, volume‑dependent) house sheet and paper stock checks
  • Liaising with production teams to prioritise work and resolve shortages
  • Replenishing stock to ensure uninterrupted workflow
  • Operating a counterbalance FLT to ensure stock is moved safely around the workshop

(Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)

Health & Safety

  • Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Remain vigilant, alert, and aware of surrounding risks at all times

Preferable for this position but not essential

  • Access to own vehicle

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
