A leading waste management company is seeking an experienced and reliable Class 2 Tanker Driver to join their growing team on a full-time basis.

Pay Rate: £15.50 per hour (training rate is £14ph) and overtime rate for weekends/bank holidays £23.25ph

Training: Full training provided

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong commitment to health & safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company Class 2 tankers and travel to customer sites
  • Position tankers correctly prior to servicing portable toilets
  • Empty toilets safely and efficiently in accordance with environmental and health & safety regulations
  • Carry out all tanker operations, including:
    • Connecting and disconnecting pipework
    • Operating pumps
    • Monitoring the emptying process
    • Resolving operational issues where necessary
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and in line with company procedures
  • Input operational information into company IT systems and supporting equipment
  • Ensure all duties are performed in compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the company

Requirements:

  • Full UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
  • Valid and up-to-date CPC qualification
  • Clean UK driving licence preferred
  • Previous HGV driving experience is advantageous
  • Applicants must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes
