The Best Connection Staines are recruiting for experienced HGV2 drivers for a large food delivery company based in Uxbridge.
Pay Rates
£17.50 – £18ph – depending on experience.
A shadow shift will be provided before you go out on your own.
Shift Allocation
04:00 am start. Minimum 8 hours paid per shift. 45‑minute unpaid break.
- Driver Responsibilities
- Daily vehicle checks.
- Deliveries of food and cooking products to businesses.
- 15–20 drops per day – multi‑drop experience preferred but not essential.
- Adhering to assigned delivery and collection schedules, following all job directives precisely; interacting with dispatchers/customers professionally and timely.
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- Products can be cages or palletised.
- Driver mates to assist on all deliveries.
- Driver Requirements
- 7.5T Cat C1 or HGV2 Cat C driving licence.
- CPC, Digi Tacho.
- No more than 3 points.
- Good customer service and professional skills.
