Location: Uckfield

Continental Shifts Available:

  • Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 1 (Thursday-Saturday)
  • Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 2 (Monday-Wednesday)
  • Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Sunday-Tuesday)
  • Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Wednesday-Friday)

This position is being offered on a Temporary basis with the potential to go Permanent.

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a Machine / Fulfilment Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in manufacturing or print to develop their career in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating and overseeing print machinery to ensure efficient production
  • Setting up machines, including adjustments for different print runs
  • Monitoring quality of printed materials to meet company standards
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately
  • Processing orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
  • Preparing goods for dispatch
  • Conducting quality checks on products
  • Loading and unloading materials safely
  • Completing production paperwork and logging output
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
  • Following health & safety procedures at all times

(Please note: duties may vary depending on operational requirements.)
