Continental Shifts Available:
- Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 1 (Thursday-Saturday)
- Rotating Days - 06:00-18:00 Week 2 (Monday-Wednesday)
- Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Sunday-Tuesday)
- Fixed Continental Nights - 18:00-06:00 (Wednesday-Friday)
This position is being offered on a Temporary basis with the potential to go Permanent.
Job Summary
We are currently recruiting a Machine / Fulfilment Operative to support a busy print factory in Uckfield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and an interest in manufacturing or print to develop their career in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating and overseeing print machinery to ensure efficient production
- Setting up machines, including adjustments for different print runs
- Monitoring quality of printed materials to meet company standards
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately
- Processing orders using handheld scanners and warehouse systems
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Conducting quality checks on products
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Completing production paperwork and logging output
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
