The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Trainee Water Tank Engineer to join a specialist business within the water treatment and installation industry based in Tamworth. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the erection of GRP sectional water tanks
- Working from layout plans and technical drawings
- Installing internal tank components, including ladders, access hatches, and connections
- Using hand and power tools, including drills, grinders, and wrenches
- Working safely at height
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK
- Supporting the site installation team on projects
- Liaising with warehouse and installation teams
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out any other duties required to support operations
Requirements
- Practical and hands-on approach to work
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work at height
- Willingness to travel nationwide
- Flexible regarding occasional weekend work and overnight stays
