Job Opportunity: Trainee Trade Counter Customer Service Assistant

Location: Carlisle

Salary: Β£12.50 ph

Job Type: Full-time

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:30am – 04:30pm (One Saturday every three weeks)

About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Trade Counter Customer Service Assistant to train up and join our team. You\’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice and excellent service at our trade counter. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Process sales accurately and efficiently at the trade counter
  • Provide product knowledge and advice to help customers find what they need
  • Manage stock levels, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organised trade counter area
  • Work collaboratively and in the warehouse to support daily operations
