The Best Connection Group - Manchester is currently recruiting a Class 1 (Cat CE) driver for our client, a market leader based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking job stability and a long-term role leading to permanent positions for the right candidate.

Pay & Hours

  • Guaranteed 50 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday: £17 per hour
  • 06:30 start time
  • Nights out £30

The Role

  • Driving a Class 1 and Class 2 vehicle but not limited to (rate will be the same)
  • Delivering cleaning products and textiles across the UK
  • Expected nights out (tramping) in a sleeper cab (equipped with microwave & fridge)
  • Daily interaction with customers, maintaining excellent service standards
  • Flexible routes - no two days are the same

Ideal Candidate

  • Valid Cat CE (Class 1) licence
  • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
  • Happy to drive Class 1, Class 2, 7.5t and vans (your rate will stay the same)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
  • Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • For insurance purposes must be 25 years or older with 2 years experience on your Class 1 licence
  • Happy to get stuck in when needed in the warehouse
  • Team player - willing to drive any vehicle to support the company
  • Flexibility and reliability with excellent timekeeping will drive success in this role
