Pay Rate: £14.58 per hour
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Contract: Temporary, Ongoing (Weekends Only)

The Best Connection Eastbourne is currently recruiting for a reliable Van Driver to join one of our well-established clients in Newhaven. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for regular weekend work throughout the summer, with ongoing shifts available every Saturday and Sunday until the end of August.

A paid induction and training day will be provided before you begin.

The Role

As a Weekend Van Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tipper van while carrying out environmental maintenance duties across the local area. This is an outdoor role that plays an important part in keeping public spaces clean and tidy.

Duties

• Driving a tipper van around designated routes
• Emptying public street bins
• Litter picking in public areas
• Sweeping streets and pavements where required
• General outdoor maintenance duties
• Working safely and efficiently as part of a team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A full UK Driving Licence
• To be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• A positive attitude and good customer service skills

Benefits
