The Best Connection is working closely with our International Client to find HGV C+E (Class One) Shunter/Drivers for their Thirsk site. The role will be predominately shunting work with occasional road trunk runs as business levels dictate. The road runs tend to be to other RDC's and customers' commercial premises, and the shunting is moving and swapping trailers and stock around the RDC. The successful candidate will take ownership of the yard and be the face of our client on site.
Load and work schedules will be logged and issued via an electronic system using a tablet - training will be given.
Driver requirements:
- C+E, CPC and Digi Card
- Minimum of 12 months experience
- Over 25 for insurance purposes
Start times: Nights between 16:00 and 18:00
