Ambient and Freezer Pickers- Warehouse Operative
Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £12.81 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Best Connection Oxford is currently recruiting for Ambient and Freezer Picker / Warehouse Operative to join our client's team based in Thame.
This is a hands-on warehouse role working in either an ambient enviroment or a freezer environment, with temperatures reaching -20°C. Full freezer suits and the necessary protective equipment will be provided.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Picking orders accurately and efficiently within the freezer or ambient departments
- Palletising goods and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and keeping the warehouse tidy.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times, particularly when working in cold conditions.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Comfortable working in a freezer or ambient environment at temperatures of -20°C.
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to assist with general warehouse duties.
Previous warehouse or order-picking experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
