Technical QA wanted to work in a fast-paced environment within a busy meat factory. We are recruiting for a Technical QA to work in a leading Abattoir in Dorset. The role involves quality assurance of lamb products ensuring food safety standards are met at all times. Previous experience working in a similar role within the meat industry would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring quality, legal, and HACCP checks are completed at specified intervals, strictly adhering to procedures.
- Reporting non-conformance through correct channels and recording of checks efficiently.
- Collecting samples to be sent for testing.
- Efficiently communicating with senior QA and line management on any food safety and quality issues or deviations.
- Following all company procedures, conducting assessments and audits as required.
Ideal candidate:
- Own transport is essential due to the location of the factory.
- Previous QA experience or working within the meat industry beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually.
- Available for an immediate start in full-time work.
Pay Rate: £13.93ph
Working hours: 6am-4pm Monday-Friday
