The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy distribution operation within the warehousing and logistics industry based in Tamworth. This role offers an immediate start and the opportunity of a permanent position following a successful trial period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team within the warehousing and logistics industry, working across multiple contracts and supporting site operations.
Job Role:
As a Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting operational and administrative functions across site contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth communication between customers, managers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending daily operational briefings
- Supporting invoicing and backing documentation across multiple contracts
- Managing transportation Basware invoices
- Ensuring all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and actioned
- Processing and maintaining transport requests in line with OTIF requirements
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport providers
- Ensuring customer expectations are clearly understood and met
- Investigating and responding to non-conformance issues
- Supporting continuous improvement across warehouse processes
- Participating in training and development as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Administrator or similar administrative role
- Strong PC skills (including Microsoft Office)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Organised, methodical, and process-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident liaising with customers and stakeholders at all levels
