Service Administrator / Driver
Location: Tamworth
Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00
Additional Hours: One Saturday per month
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Our client, based in Tamworth, is looking for a professional, organised and customer-focused Service Administrator / Driver to join their busy automotive team.
This is a varied role combining administration, customer service and vehicle movements within a professional automotive environment. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping things organised and delivering a high standard of customer service, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Welcoming customers and providing a friendly, professional service.
- Booking customer appointments and managing service schedules.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
- Liaising with customers and workshop technicians to ensure effective communication.
- Completing data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Carrying out general administrative duties.
- Moving customer vehicles around the site when required.
- Safely driving customer vehicles into and out of the service workshop.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A full UK manual driving licence.
- Be 25 years of age or older for vehicle insurance purposes.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A professional, friendly and confident manner.
- Confidence using computers, email and telephone systems.
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.
- A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
Previous administration, reception or customer service experience would be an advantage.
