Job Overview:
Our client, based on Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth, is seeking a dedicated Food Quality Control Inspector to support site quality and compliance standards. You will carry out CCP verifications, quality assurance checks, and compliance testing while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Full training and PPE are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct CCP verifications and quality assurance checks
- Complete full compliance and traceability testing
- Support reduction of site NCF and achievement of CPMU targets
- Drive Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) across the site
- Carry out internal audits in line with company procedures
- Identify and report hygiene standards using ATP and allergen swabbing techniques
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Previous experience in food production or quality control preferred
- Proactive approach to maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards
