Location: Twycross Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Position: Temp to Permanent
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a CNC Operative
We are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Twycross, a manufacturer of high-quality agricultural trailers, including cattle, bale, and horse trailers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term employment within a busy manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced manufacturing team, you will support the production of agricultural trailers while ensuring quality standards and production targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating Siemens CNC machines
- Setting and adjusting machine tooling and equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings
- Carrying out basic maintenance and housekeeping of CNC machinery
- Supporting production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are maintained
- Working safely and adhering to all health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous CNC operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 16:30
- £14.00 per hour
