The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Cleansing Operative to join our client and support the maintenance of high standards of cleanliness across the Tamworth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a hands-on role within a supportive team environment.
The Role
As a Cleansing Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleansing and grounds maintenance duties to ensure public areas are maintained to a high standard. Duties will include:
- Emptying bins and maintaining cleanliness across assigned areas
- Assisting with fly-tipping removal
- Litter picking
- Removing graffiti
- Supporting grounds maintenance and cleansing activities
- Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with service standards
- Providing excellent customer service when representing the company
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or manual cleansing work (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and hardworking approach
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30
30-minute unpaid break
£13.05 per hour
