Our client, a growing and well-established company, is looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join their team in Tamworth. You'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. If you take pride in your work, have great attention to detail, and enjoy keeping spaces spotless - this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning office corridors, stairwells, and glass panels
- Mopping floors, wiping doors, and sanitising touchpoints
- Hoovering open-plan office carpets (no desk cleaning required)
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilet/urinal areas and replenishing supplies
- Cleaning the canteen area - including fridges, microwaves, and crockery
- Emptying office and food waste bins
- Reporting maintenance issues or health safety concerns
- Maintaining cleaning product stock and records (MSDS compliance)
- Carrying out minor maintenance tasks (e.g. unclogging sinks, tightening seats)
- Buffing wooden floors in reception, offices, and corridors
- May occasionally assist with morning cleaning of shopfloor walkways and touchpoints
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience (domestic or industrial)
- BICS training preferred (or willing to be trained to standard)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good understanding of Health Safety and hygiene standards
- Physically fit and able to climb stairs/lift cleaning equipment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
Hours
Monday to Friday - 14:00 to 19:00 (25 hours per week) Β£12.36 per hour No weekends! - Enjoy your free time
