Location: Tamworth
Pay: £21.10 per hour
Hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | Start times between 06:00 - 15:00
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular weekend work with a reputable company.
The Role
As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of chilled products to customers.
Duties will include:
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally
- Delivering chilled products to businesses within a 60-mile radius
- Completing delivery routes efficiently
- Carrying out vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with driver's hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
Working Hours
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Start times between 06:00 - 15:00
- Flexible approach required to support weekday cover when needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Minimum 6 month's commercial Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Flexible approach to working weekends and weekdays
- Reliable and professional attitude
