Job Role - Class 1 Driver (C+E) (Transport & Logistics Industry)

As a Class 1 Driver (C+E) in Tamworth, you will be responsible for completing depot-to-depot deliveries within the transport and logistics industry, ensuring loads are transported safely, efficiently, and in line with all transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing 1 depot-to-depot delivery per shift
  • Conducting pre- and post-vehicle checks
  • Opening and closing trailer curtains when required
  • Ensuring all transport paperwork is completed accurately
  • Complying with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Delivering excellent standards of professionalism and safety
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues
