Looking for regular work and want to work for a well reputed company? This could be the ideal role for you! The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting for a Yard operative, day shift, this role is a temp to perm assignment.
Hours and pay: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm, £13 - £13.50 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading bags of gravel, sand, and other aggregate materials
- Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the working day
- Moving stock around the yard and warehouse areas
- Preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Assisting with deliveries and vehicle loading
- Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Operating basic yard equipment and tools when required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of heavy manual work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety practices
- Previous labouring, warehouse, yard, or construction experience preferred but not essential
