About the Role: We are looking for a reliable, professional Driver's Mate / Assembly Operative to join our client's growing delivery team. This role involves assisting the driver with the delivery, assembly, and installation of a wide range of products at customer premises while providing an exceptional white glove delivery service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with assembly or installation experience who enjoys customer interaction and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver with the safe loading and unloading of products.
- Deliver goods to customer's homes and business premises in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assemble a variety of products using hand tools, following assembly instructions where required.
- Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering and assembling products in customer's homes or commercial premises.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of manual handling procedures.
