The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a CNC Production Engineer to work at our client's manufacturing site based in Farnham, Surrey. This is a temp to perm vacancy (12 weeks) with working hours from Monday to Friday (39 hours per week).
Duties:
- Carrying out routine operation and maintenance on CNC machines.
- Troubleshooting of machining issues.
- Varying degrees of manual handling.
- Developing and refining manufacturing methods to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
- Producing standard operating procedures, shop floor job packs, routings, and tooling sheets.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Requirements:
- Speak a good level of English.
- Have experience within production and engineering.
- Have experience within CNC machine operation.
- Be a problem solver with good use of own initiative.
- Understanding of CNC machine tools, tooling, and machining processes for various materials.
- Be able to reliably commute to Farnham.
Pay rate is £18.50 per hour, with the rate progressing once permanent. Immediate start available; notice periods can be honoured.
