We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain & Administration Planner to work within a busy warehouse operation based in Aylesford. This role supports the Head of Logistics and plays a key part in warehouse administration, stock control, and maintaining the Warehouse Management System.
Key Details
- Location: Aylesford (on site)
- Hours: 35 hours paid per week
- Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00
- Pay: Β£14.35 per hour through agency (first 12 weeks)
- Permanent salary equivalent: Β£26,125 - Β£27,500 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Processing internal and external purchase orders
- Maintaining stock levels and completing perpetual inventory checks
- Investigating stock discrepancies and resolving issues
- Supporting production and dispatch planning
- Monitoring warehouse KPIs including stock accuracy, availability, waste, and supplier performance
- Managing booking-in diaries and identifying capacity issues
- Producing warehouse and stock performance reports
- Receipting and despatching stock accurately via the Warehouse Management System
- Supporting warehouse projects and dispatch initiatives
- Liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and IT
- Acting as a key user for the Warehouse Management System
- Supporting system testing, upgrades, and user queries
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Basic image editing using Photoshop (desirable)
Requirements
- Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse administration
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- Good data, reporting, and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator and team player
