The Best Connection is working with our client based in Sunderland, who is a well-established engineering company, manufacturing equipment for the construction industry. They have an immediate requirement for Welders - Dayshift. Our client has vacancies in both their Sunderland and Birtley sites.

Duties will include:

  • Making and refurbishing excavation buckets

Heavy Industry environment

Hours of work: Dayshift working Monday to Friday

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm

Friday 7.00am - 12.00pm

Pay Rates:

  • £14.93 per hour basic rate (PAYE) for first 40 hours worked
  • £22.40 per hour overtime rate after 40 hours worked
  • £29.86 per hour overtime rate after 45 hours worked

The roles are being offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to be taken on permanent for the right candidates.
