£12.21 per hour with overtime rates paid up to £24.42 per hour! Our client located in Redditch, a leading name in contract electronics manufacturing services specialising in the automotive industry are recruiting for Stores Operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control:
- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming parts and materials. Storing items in designated locations, optimising space utilisation, and maintaining accurate inventory records using computer systems.
- Order Fulfilment:
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently, potentially using handheld scanners.
- Stock Control:
- Conducting regular stock takes, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and returning unused components to stock.
- Material Handling:
- Safely handling parts and materials, ensuring they are stored correctly to maintain quality and accessibility.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Interacting with other departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to address stock issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, including designated storage areas, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Work Schedules / Pay Rates:
- Working a fixed day shift from 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday
- £12.21 per hour basic
- £16.24 per hour after 7.65 hours worked daily.
- £18.32 per hour Saturdays
- £24.42 per hour Sundays and Bank Holidays
