The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing company for a Machine Operator to join their friendly production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
The Role
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to specification, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitoring production processes and product quality
- Loading materials and components into machines
- Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting faults
- Following work instructions and production schedules
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the production area
- Adhering to all company Health & Safety procedures
- Assisting with stock movement and material handling using FLT equipment when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Strong awareness and understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Some FLT (Fork Lift Truck) experience and confidence operating FLT equipment
- Good attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
