Production Operative/FLT Driver
Location: Stockport
Hours: Monday to Friday, Rotating shifts 6:30am - 2:30pm, 1:30pm - 21:30pm
Pay Rate: £14.53 per hour
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT driver/ machine operator to join a busy manufacturing and production team based in Stockport.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment and would suit candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy a challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Unloading incoming wagons
- Loading pallets of glass onto production machinery
- Operating machinery in line with company procedures
- Completing paperwork relating to pallet usage and stock movements
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure production targets are met
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures at all timesGood attention to detail, particularly when completing paperwork
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
