The Best Connection is recruiting for a Steel Operative for our Wolverhampton based client. Immediate start available. Pay rate is £13.21 per hour to £13.50. Working hours are 07:00 till 15:30 Monday to Thursday with a 14:30 finish on Friday.
As a Steel Operative your duties will include:
- Assembling metal frames using hand tools
- Stacking/Handling steel section
- Changing coils
- Visual inspection of finished products
- Other general duties as required
This is a long-term position. The ideal candidate will have previous assembly experience within the steel industry, along with drilling experience. Applicants must be confident in the use of hand tools and competent in measuring to millimetre (mm) specifications.
