HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers - Tamworth
Up to 22.00 per hour Ongoing Night Work Flexible Start Times
The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Tamworth, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
With regular night work available, excellent rates of pay and straightforward trunking duties, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work.
Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday Nights: 19.37 per hour
- Saturday Nights: 20.17 per hour
- Sunday Nights: 22.00 per hour
Any shift starting after 12:01pm will be paid at the applicable night shift rate for the entire shift.
The Role
- Ongoing night shift work.
- RDC and NDC deliveries.
- No store deliveries.
- No loading or unloading duties.
- Minimal manual handling - primarily opening and closing trailer doors.
- Various start times available.
- Flexible scheduling where possible to accommodate preferred start times.
- Regular work with an established logistics operation.
Driver Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 6 month's Class 1 driving experience.
- Maximum 6 penalty points.
- Successful completion of a driving assessment.
The driving assessment is paid upon successful completion.
