Our Client based in Eastleigh is currently looking for an HGV Cat C driver to work Monday to Friday driving a Cat C 18 ton lorry. This is a temp to perm position with an annual salary of £39,400 plus overtime. The hourly rate is £16.76 per hour.

Your working week is Monday to Friday. Start time is approx 6.00 to 7.00am with an average working day of 8-10 hours. You will be delivering goods to commercial customers in and around Hampshire and surrounding home counties. You will receive full training on all aspects of the job before going out on your first day.

What will you need to bring to the table:

  • Drivers will need to have excellent communication skills.
  • This is a very customer-facing role so you will need to have a pleasant and professional manner.
  • New pass drivers are welcome but you will need to demonstrate a good understanding of some form of commercial driving knowledge even if not as an HGV driver.
  • You will be working with a driver's mate every day, so being a team player is important.
  • The company will invest a great deal of time in training, so a high degree of numeracy and literacy is necessary.
