The Best Connection (Newcastle) are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver for our long-standing client based in the North Shields area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driver looking for consistent, ongoing work with a reputable building materials specialist.
The Role:
- Safe operation of a Class 2 vehicle.
- Delivering and collecting building products to sites across the local area.
- Operating the HIAB crane for loading and unloading.
- Ensuring all loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Adhering to all tachograph and road safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence.
- Valid ALLMI or ITSSAR HIAB certificate.
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN).
- Good knowledge of the local North East road network.
Pay and Hours:
- Basic Rate: £16.50 per hour.
- Mon-Fri Overtime: £24.75 per hour (After 8 hours).
- Saturday Rate: £24.75 per hour (All hours worked).
- Sunday & Bank Holiday: £33.00 per hour (All hours worked).
- Hours: Monday to Friday with regular Saturdays available.
- Start Times: Typical start times from 08:00am.
