The Best Connection Melksham are looking for reliable CLASS 1 SHUNTERS to join our client’s team based in Melksham, Wiltshire. These roles offer ongoing shifts each week and operate between Monday and Friday. Some weekend work may be required.

Pay rate: 17.48ph PAYE.

Shifts: 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30

Duties:

  • Direct incoming vehicles and equipment to the correct areas
  • Ensure that vehicles are legally compliant and that they are positioned to maintain a smooth work flow
  • Other duties as required by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • A valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence
  • Minimum 6 months experience
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • A valid Digi/Tacho card
  • A right to work in the UK
  • Access to a smartphone or device to complete our online registration process.
