The Role
We are looking for an experienced Global Logistics Executive to support time-critical freight operations across Road, Air, and Sea during the night shift. This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or aviation who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage urgent shipments with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export shipments across Road, Air, and Sea freight.
- Complete freight bookings, AWBs, customs declarations, and transit documentation.
- Ensure all shipments, including AOG and critical aircraft parts, are delivered on time and in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Review and verify customs entries and shipping documentation.
- Provide customers with timely shipment updates.
- Source freight rates and routing options and prepare quotations.
- Ensure accurate job costing and supplier information is recorded within internal systems.
- Manage operational mailboxes and prioritise workload effectively.
- Follow operational procedures and compliance requirements at all times.
About You
- Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, aviation, or another time-critical operational environment.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to manage urgent and high-priority shipments.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with customers, suppliers, airlines, agents, and internal teams.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and capable of making decisions independently.
- IT proficient, including Microsoft Office and freight management/customs systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence with fewer than 6 penalty points.
- Able to provide a 5-year checkable employment history.
- Right to work in the UK and no disqualifying convictions for airside operations.
