The Best Connection is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join one of our food manufacturing clients based in the SY4 area.
An in-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential) and PPT - Powered Pallet Truck licence (essential) are required for this role.
Working hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am - 6:00pm
- 60 paid hours per week (breaks are paid)
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Key responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Manual handling of stock
- Pallet movement and general stock control
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Operating FLT when required (not the main focus of the role)
- Using computer systems and handheld scanners to track stock and orders
Requirements:
- In-date Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- PPT licence with experience (essential)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Happy to carry out mainly warehouse duties rather than full-time FLT work
- Confident using computer systems and scanners
- Ability to work at a steady pace and follow health & safety procedures
- Own transport required due to limited/no public transport in the area
