We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join a busy sheet metal production team. This role involves supporting production activities, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting with machinery and general workshop duties.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 16:30 - 05:00 (48 hours per week)
Pay rate: £12.21 per hour for the first 39 hours, and £16.28 per hour for the remaining 9 hours of the final shift. This position may lead to a full-time, permanent opportunity following a successful trial period.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a brake press is desirable
- Prior experience working within the sheet metal industry
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to adapt to various production tasks
