The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Machine / Process Operator for one of our well-established clients based in the Hortonwood area. This role is working within a food manufacturing environment, with responsibility for the beginning stages of the production process.
Working Hours & Pay
- Night shifts: 18:00 - 06:00
- Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off
- Pay rate: £15.56 per hour
- Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
- Immediate starts available
Role Overview
As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for the early stages of food production, ensuring materials and machinery are set up correctly and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and setting production machinery
- Preparing and managing the start of the manufacturing process
- Monitoring production to ensure quality and efficiency
- Following strict food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting general production duties when required
Requirements
- Previous machine operating and setting experience (essential)
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment (essential)
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (preferred)
- FLT licence (preferred, but not essential - training can be provided)
- Reliable and able to work 12‑hour night shifts on a rota basis
